What I Am Going To Wear To Ladies Day #ColourMeMarch

I am super excited that it is officially 15 days until Spring and I can start shedding the winter layers for something lighter and brighter. In honour of this I am creating this post to show what I would wear to Ladies Day on the 11th March at Cheltenham Racecourse!

This year the Festival is all about colour and embracing your own unique style with a vibrant twist, I am a person who most of you will know as a lover of monochrome and struggled to find colour in my wardrobe! However this gave me the encouragement to find a bold statement item for the Spring as I adore block colour but continuously find myself buying black time and time again!
(I promise from now on I am all about colour!)

Okay so my main purchase in the last week has been this fabulous sleeveless duster coat from House of Sunny, a company who I got to meet at London Fashion Weekend on Saturday and they were all so lovely and we ironically talked about not wearing enough colour!

Of course I have to talk about this AMAZING skirt which is my Colour Me March piece!

The blue is a colour so out of my comfort zone and I didn't think I could pull it off but ever since I've put it on I am obsessed and have received numerous compliments. The a-line structure is so seventies especially paired with the two front pockets and the front zipped detail. Your eyes are immediately drawn to the bright colour and the quirky details add a bit of flirty suggestion, which is key element at a playful event such as Ladies Day!

Obviously an event such as Ladies Day is all about the glamour and my favourite stylish piece at moment has to be these stunning lace heels. The shoes replicate zip on the skirt and the waist coat which pulls the whole look together giving a sophisticated edge to this fun lively outfit!

So here is my look for Ladies day, if you are feeling inspired you should defiantly have a go by entering your #ColourMeMarch outfits here! Remember Ladies Day is the 11th March and is held at Cheltenham Racecourse.
